    Description

    The Bermuda 50 Dollars is part of the family of notes issued in 2009-2012 by the Bermuda Monetary Authority. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty. The banknote’s obverse side features a long-tailed tropicbird, Queen Elizabeth II, and hibiscus flowers. The reverse of the note depicts butterflies and Saint Peter’s church which is located in the town of Saint George. The banknote which is 136 x 69 mm in size bears an Optiks security thread. Furthermore, it has a watermark showing a hibiscus flower, an electrotype sailboat, and Cornerstones. It also bears the signatures of BMA Chairman Alan Cossar and Director Gerald Simmons.
